Ustadha Nighat Kausar started studying sacred knowledge classes in 2009 with Shaykha Safia Shahid, including Tajwid, Fiqh and Aqidah. She studied these three subjects with Shaykha Safia several times. Between 2009 and 2015 she taught at Jamatia Islamic Centre in Sparkhill, teaching both adults and children. She spent many years accompanying Shaykha Safia, and attended many classes of sacred knowledge. In 2009, she started teaching Tajwid online under the guidance of Shaykha Safia. After that, she taught Tajwid classes in Smethwick Jamia Mosque in 2012. She then taught adult Tajwid classes for a year at Munir-ul-Islam Jamia Chishtia Mosque in Rochdale, as well as teaching at the madrasah there.  Ustadha Nighat Kausar will be teaching the Women’s Muslim College Certificate in Quranic Recitation (Tajwid) in October in Rochdale insha Allah.
